Brake booster bolts

Looking for advice on the upper bolts for the brake booster. The truck didn’t have a booster when I got it so I think that’s how it came stock. I can’t think of how to fasten the top of the brake booster to the truck. There’s just enough space to drop a thin nut behind the firewall bracket, no chance of getting a bolt back there and getting it to protrude out toward the booster. I thought a rivnut would work best but even that is too long. Do I need to drill a hole in the firewall? Is this not a problem for factory power brake trucks?

I'm sure, others know better but it might be a fender bolt that will go in and make its own threads and tighten it up.

The studs should be anchored from the pedal assembly & protrude the firewall.

I believe these 2 are above the 4

Actually, I think those bolts were pressed in like studs with skinny heads on them between the firewall and the brace. I looked for a picture but the only one I have is showing that I sealed up that gap.

It might be possible to drill them out and feed bolts through from inside the cowl.

Thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something obvious before punching holes in the firewall. Put two holes in it today. Turned out pretty good I think.
