Brake Booster Adjustment

The shop put a new master cylinder and booster. Now the brake pedal does not come all the way back up. Sometimes the brake lights stay on. It's not the switch, I don't think the booster rod is allowing the brake pedal to return. Is there an adjustment for that?

I don't know if the original rod is adjustable off the top of my head, but if it is, it's at the pedal. There's a threaded on clevis that you can adjust.

Yes there is. You'll need to remove the master cylinder from the brake booster and use a tool that'll set the depth on one side, and the opposite side will let you set the depth on the booster side. At the booster, turn the rod CCW to make the rod longer, clockwise to make it shorter. Should be about 0.020" gap between the booster pin and depth gauge.
