Me too. ^
I was quick to paint over the orange 010 block in the SS..ofc it's black. The C20s L98 is black. I'm really torn to leave the Blazer's 400 orange or to paint it what did he say? Navy gray? Okay...sounds cool. Battleship gray? I need pix of that 327 friend, let's have em!
I reckon you'll have to pay for that with three dollar bills.I have wondered about this for so many years. Why isn't it an option on a new vehicle???
Yes, I would like the blue silicone hoses, with the hot pink engine, please....
You bet! You should see all of the spare glovebox screws I have been saving....Only angle I have of the crusty old bird until I get it up on the engine stand. Notice the creative bolt washer arrangement on the alternator bracket. Old-timers will re-use anything usable.

Any chance that was a Jasper reman engine? I want to say those were painted gray for a while too.
69 passenger cars went to the long pump, and accessory bolt holes in the heads. I think it was 70-72 pickups went long 69 was last year of the 327 2 barrel powered. 55-56 heads had staggered bolts 57 started the straight across bolts.
I think we all need another round...
