I get what you are saying. Can you take video of it in operation? Parking lights on the sides light up and when you turn on 4 ways it blinks with parking lights on?
basically the wires that used to power the light now just act as a signal for the relay to turn the sidemarker on
sorry i am outta town till sunday, i'll get a video then. it works perfectly but once i did the final swap for leds in the parklights the leds didnt draw enough current to activate the sidemarker relays or the flasher unit. i played around with some resitors to wire with the parklights, to mimick the current draw of the old parklights, and appear to have found the winning combination. I'll update my wiring diagram once its all finnished. but thats separate from the sidemarkers, they work as intended. I have ordered the correct resistors (because the weak ones i had would have fried pretty soon) and ill update the thread/diagram then and we'll have a comprehensive, foolproof how to for converting a square to all leds
