I have a 1978 K20 Custom Deluxe 350 with dual gasoline tanks and dual propane tanks -- it's a bi-fuel truck. I don't believe Chevrolet themselves installed the propane option but that the conversion was done by a third party at the time. Anyone have information on this option? This was not a fleet truck -- the original owner, a private party, was the one to get it this way.
