Beware: Newbie on board!

I know a lot about a little and a little about a lot... Electricity is an exception... I'm quicker to get zapped than I am to find a solution in an electrical system...
Anyway, I bought this old Chevy truck for 500 bucks, has some issues, but I want to restore it. 1985 Chevy C30 350... I put a flat bed on it 'cause the bed was rotted out. I've been troubleshooting engine issues since I got it. Progress is slow because I'm not rich. But I am persistent.
I live in Virginia and have way to many hobbies, this truck, casting metal, welding, and so many other things that keep me from causing other people to run for the hills when I come around heheh.

Welcome! If you're ever in my neck of the woods, I can point you to a rust free bed. You seem like a nice guy so feel free to stick around, take a load off, start a build thread, and learn as much as I and others have on this forum. Anyways, what kind of issues are you having with it?

Looks like you kinda need a rear bumper too. I suggest you build that from steel.

Looks like you've got a sweet bed started! Nice woodworking and painting skills. Your attention to detail is honed well. I noticed that you painted everything under the bed. How did you fasten it to the frame? BTW, electrical is just plumbing without the water. gmsquarebody is the place to come for help! I like it here!
