Which company out there has the best door panels for the 77-80 models? My passenger door window is broke, and the guy who's fixing it said that he's scared that he'll break the door panel to get to the innerds to fix the window crank. So I'm considering lettin' 'em break it and getting some replacement panels. My interior is maroon, but I reckon they were originally red? o_O

I'd also like to keep the aluminium inserts and all the trim on them. Non-power, obviously. So please insert your opinions, because I need some help finding the best panels since I'm probably going to need some soon.

Pardon, but there's no reason to bust up your door panel with just a little care. If you need replacement buy used original because a lot of replacement stuff does not fit well. Get Eastwood plastic interior paints to finish it up. 2 cents!

I don't know what your budget is but the truckandcar shop lists "OEM" 77-80 panels at $200 per. They are stain/paint to match and base model configuration.

If they sold both sides 81-87 OEM panels at that price - I'd be all over them!

They're dry-rotted to hell anyways. But that's true about replacements.

@chengny I wish my budget was good enough to spend $400 on panels, hoss. Haha only if they were more like $300 for both instead of $200 for each. haha

They hook in really good along the top, that's were care is needed. I've removed panels with holes in them because they were so brittle, but you can still get them removed without further damage.

Sweet! Another resto site! I wonder if their dash pads are any better than LMC?

They look pretty reasonable on a lot of things. Some are ridiculous as usual but for the most part they are pretty reasonable in my mind. May have to give them a fair chance on my next parts order

Is that $200 per or for a pair?
