I can picture my happy muddy bird dog sitting on the seat with a retrieved duck or pheasant in his mouth

It always seems to take me MONEY along with vision !
Well, of course it has taken some money to do this one. The goal was to build it for less than 6k including the price of the truck. I'm going to be closer to $7,500 when its done, but way cheaper than my 71.

I ordered it from Rock Auto. Surprised how nice it was and how well it fit.

IDK...Looks like a GMC?

Its a driver....Gen 5 LS, with 4L60 trans.....Cut 1/2 ton frame and lengthened...seats are from 2014 Silverado. My wife helped a lot...Im very lucky..she was huge help with the wiring.

Man that's beautiful! Just curious, what made you go 4L60 instead of a 6 or 8 speed behind that LT motor?
