Alright this is another I have a rusty bed question but I figured I would ask because I wanna know your guys opinion.

So the question on my bed I have rust around my wheel wells. But I don't think it is higher than a patch panel would reach. So should I go patch panel or new bed? I am repainting the whole bed either way.

You know you can get just the bed side rather than the whole bed if the rest of the bed is in good shape  Or find a solid, rust free bed on CL and repaint that

Yes but isn't it more expensive to buy the bedsides.

More expensive than a patch but less expensive the a whole new bed (if going brand new) but a bed side is better and will last longer than a patch in many instances. However, you should be able to track down a solid used bed if you look hard enough and then just paint that. That'd be your cheaper route I would imagine especially if you're willing to travel a little bit to grab a good one.
