I have been looking for a bed mat source. I would like custom fit if it is possible to find. 3/8" thick is a good thickness.

Last bed mat I ran across for a truck wasn't anywhere near 3/8. You may have to looka at something like a stall mat for horses and cut it to fit, if you want something that thick.

The thickness is not really important. Just thought that was a good thickness cause anything thicker would be even heavier and bulky to remove when needed. Custom fit is more important and probably the hardest to find.

Looked at Tractor Supply and the widest they have is 4'. That is width between fender wells.
Width of bed in front and behind wells is 6'.

May have to settle for a 4'x8' and not worry about the rest.

not sure if it is thick enough but you can check lmc for a specific fit and for a more generic solution maybe jc whitney? JC whitney has always catered to truck bed supplies and weird what nots that might be in the range of what you are hoping to find

In Texas there should be a lot of truck accessories shops around. Ck with them. Should be able to find one to fit except maybe not
3/8" thick.

Been doing a lot of web searching. Have found a lot of mats, most are not custom made I guess due to the age factor. 3/8" seems quite common on a lot of the ones I have found. Some found are 1/4". As mentioned in first post, may just have to get a 4'x8' and not have the full bed coverage.

Thanks all for the information.

How often are you going to be loading something that goes around the wheel wells anyways?

Right. Mostly for cosmetics so all bed floor looks same.
