Sounds like you figured it out for yourself, you'll be happy just spraying paint in the bed. I guess it's good to get a lot of opinions, helps you sort out everything.
Yes, thanks. It's good to get some real world reviews from people that have experience.

its its originally a 76 k10, but I'm putting k30 axles and suspension under it. And I'm swapping the cab and front clip from an 85 c20. So itll look like an 85, say silverado 20, haul like a k30, but be a k10 at heart. Kind of a Frankenstein, theres a whole thread on this thing.

And here is my k15 Sierra if anyone wondered.
That's the cleanest it had been in a long time, after it rained, and sitting in my friends driveway. (I live on dirt)

Is Raptor liner garbage as well?

I used it in my 83. Looks good, very grippy, but not nearly as heavy or rugged as the commercial spray in types. Of course, it only cost me $50, as opposed to $400+ for a commercial job.

I have a rubber mat in my Dodge, and that would still be my first choice.

I have a 99 Dodge Cummins, a 50 Ford F1, my 83 Square, and my newest project, a 1970 Chevy C20. I don't discriminate by brand.
I do(discriminate). Currently in the stable; 17 Colorado, 15 Tahoe, 75 K20, 70 Chevelle, 66 Chevy II, 63 Corvette coupe, 56 Nomad, and an extra 91 S10 parts pickup. In the almost 60 tears of driving and owning rigs, there is only 2 of them that were NOT Chevys. The first was a 66 GTO hardtop that I flipped after owning it for an hour and the other was an 03 Yukon we bought new and ran it for 98K and traded for an 08 Tahoe........but that's just me........every one's mileage may vary

I recently did my bed with Herculiner and would not do it again. It is a PIA to work with. The only reason I used the stuff was because the other services were not available here. I have had Rhino Lining done on a couple trucks, trailer fenders, etc., and those coatings appear superior.

I agree here. I did herculiner in another vehicle and can't for the life of me make it look clean again at all. I have to use a wet/dry vac and a plastic bristle brush with a hose to get it to look halfway decent. Its on the inside of my wheeler and the texture just fills up with mud and provided less than any grip. I'd go with a rubber mat.

I don't discriminate by brand except Ford. Most of you know I'm a mechanic by trade and I simply hate working on the Triton motors. No Fords for me. Currently have the 1984 C-20, 1992 Dakota, 1996 Grand Cherokee and 2005 Town & Country, 1999 Class-C motorhome on Chevy chassis. Lowest mileage is 55K on the RV with, 220K on the T&C being second. The highest is 450K on Dakota. When we bought the RV in 2016 I only had two stipulations, that it had the towing compacity to tow the Jeep and was NOT on the Ford Chassis, because of the Triton thing.

Me too, I'm a GM guy, but I do like old willys jeeps also.
I currently have (by year), a 97 Chevy 3500 flat bed, a 96 Chevy 2500 parts truck, a 94 GMC Yukon, a 93 Chevy 1500, a 92 Chevy Suburban, an 86 GMC Seirra 1500, an 84 Chevy Blazer M1009 CUCV, a 76 Chevy K30, a 75 Chevy Blazer K5, a 52 Massey Ferguson tractor, a 52 Willys CJ-3A jeep, and a 1948 Willys CJ-2A jeep, which has a 283 SBC, th350 trans, chevy brakes, chevy steering column, chevy gauges, Chevy floor and firewall, all out of a squarebody...
..and Ford Explorer seats, lol.
The lowest mileage I have is 30k in my CUCV, and the most is I think 598k in the 2500. That's what the guy said the gauge was when I got it.
