man those cables sure do look old.... either your starter isn't getting the power it needs or it's just toast. I'd start by replacing the cables I mentioned in my first post.

post number 9 Is a dead give away that your charging system wires are not good. start there. by replacing them.

if you have a parasitic loss causing your battery to be dead check the alternator.

It was the starter...it took me a few months to figure it out...(I use the truck only on weekends) I replaced all the wires, added a second battery and then finally the starter gave up. Replaced it, and everything is fine now.
