Base/clear light spot fix? Need advice

Hello square body community.

Painted my k10 cab yesterday and it came out pretty good with the exception of a dry spot betting against the windshield. It streaks all the way across as I wasn’t able to reach it from the back of cab. Looking for advice as to how to fix this. I was thinking scuff with grey scotch brite, mask truck off and spray a couple coats of clear on it then wet sand buff. Any help would be nice. Thank you

Do you think there's not enough clear on it to give it a light sand and polish?
If so, then scuff and re-spray. Doing that, cover everything you don't want overspray on or there will be more dry looking clear to sand and polish.

thanks. I really don’t think there’s much clear at all right next to the rubber seal unfortunately. :/

sand, clean, mask and re-clear, then buff and polish. just by the pic there isn't enough clear to clean up. Fortunately it's up at the top of the roof line, so if your blend edge is a little thick or doesn't come out quite right it's above where peoples eyes are so it will be difficult to notice. But you've got to be a little more aggressive than scotch brite or the clear won't bond correctly. i'd hit it with 600-800 grit and lay down a couple of nice coats of clear. Some people will argue a more coarse grit and some will argue a much finer grit. But if you wet sand and take your time to prep before respray you'll get a nice surface to bond to.

I agree to. Wet sand it and reshoot it. And get a taller ladder. And this time shoot from front to back for a cross pattern.
