Barn door to tailgate conversion

Count me in the tailgate crowd, although my last 2 have had the ambulance doors (another term ).

If a body shop told me they could convert it for 1K along with the factory dash switch , sure - I suspect that is not an option so she will stay with the doors.

Tailgate sure looks better , IMHO.

Ive only had a gmt400 burban but im 100% with the tailgate. Actually mine is a "clam shell"

Has any one on here ever converted from barn doors to a tailgate on a suburban? I have really been considering changing. Never was a real big fan of rear doors but saw her and decided to save her from the auction house. Any help would be appreciated.
