Where can I find this bushing ? Do I need to buy rhe whole bracket to get one. Any part numbers or links would be appreciated

Do I need to replace that rusty spring ? Does that hold the bushing in ?

@81squared,

What bushings are you talking about, Marc? I don't recall ever seeing "bushings" in mine. Where do they go? Are you talking about where the rod goes in the trans shifter thing? Or are you talking about over there at where the bracketry attaches to the frame? I don't think mine ever had any"bushings" Or maybe that was it, mine fell out years ago, you think? When you get

yours I'd like to see them and where you put them, and what improvement it, they, made.
Of course I'm merely asking academic questions because I discarded my linkages and put the Lokar single rod shifter in my truck.

When the trans shop put it in they merely bent the rod some to line up with the trans shift post. Probably because they didn't have much experience with these. Had they, they would have put a sharp bend right at the point where it turns down to the trans shifter post. It would look a lot better instead of it just kinda curving over to the trans shifter post. It still works but it isn't supposed to just bend over to the trans. It's supposed to be a sharp angle. That's the way I've seen other people do it on You Tube videos. It's okay. I'll have to learn to live with it, I guess. Otherwise, I'll have to take it off and rebend it myself. I'm not ready to do that just yet.
