update...... Ok, after researching the "parallax" effect, or error, as was noted, yes, it is a common phenomena with vehicle instrumentation. The drivers view of the speedo will show 60 mph. , while the passenger's view of the same gauge may show 55 mph. So with that understood, sitting directly in front of the gauges, (and the angle of the cluster being 2 deg. down), very little "effect" is visible. Thanks to our dual eyes with their overlapping visual fields. Hey, good question. Hope this helps others.
