Hi Guys,
I picked up a period correct Royce 609 CB for my truck. It was new in the box and priced fairly so I just couldn't pass it up. But it needs some attention from sitting so long. Probably just the capacitors gone bad, from age. Any recommendations on who I can send this unit to for repair?
Appreciate any and all input.
Cheers, Greg

I would call the local Amateur radio shop I bet they would know someone... Even a tv repair shop could know someone

I do know one person now, that might be able to help. I will have to ask. I can tell you, most important is a properly matched antenna, especially for transmission. Did you use an SWR meter to tune the antenna?

There was a guy on YouTube down in florida I think, that really knew his way around cb's. He even tunes them up and gets more performance out of em. Knows the ins and outs, can't remember his name unfortunately..

Thanks PD, I think that guy's name is Mike. I've tried to reach him but he seems to have fallen off the planet.

Dang that sucks, he seemed to know what's up. I saw him on Bruce wilsons videos before he went to prison lol.
