Anyone dealt with LMC Trucks for parts?

Picking up the replacement engine tomorrow so I ordered an exhaust system from LMC Trucks today. Converting single to dual exhaust. They want a copy of my monthly CC bill and a picture ID before they'll send the parts. I do a lot of online buying for our company and personal use, never have I had to submit a copy of our bill and a picture ID. Anyone else had to step through these hoops with LMC?

First order with them? I never heard of anything like that - never had to do that either. Maybe they've been ripped off enough its something new.

I like their stuff though. Seem to have more in stock (and will fairly quickly restock) better than most.

I've ordered from them probably 4-6 times in the past year. Just placed an order yesterday, and never had to do that. Maybe it's the total on the order?

Question, why order exhaust from LMC? One could get a factory style replacement muffler, and then have a local shop build the exhaust for much cheaper I would think. Especially when you figure in shipping.

I bought a dual exhaust from lmc. I like it. I went with the short turbo mufflers. Just a little rumble. I can still hear my radio.

Are you positive you were on the actual LMC truck site? Could this be a phish scam?

This is 100% a scam. No retailer would ever request this information. Was the request via email? Look up the LMC phone number on their site and call that. Do not trust any contact info in the email as it is likely a fake phishing email. Report all information to LMC. DO NOT SEND THE INFO REQUESTED.

Please update us with results. I'd hate for you to get scammed. THIS IS A SCAM. I can GUARANTEE IT.
