Anyone at the squarebody show in Dawsonville GA today ?

I was there too. I talked to your son a few times roundhouse. I knew I had seen his truck somewhere online. Its definately a cool build!

He did most of the work himself
Even did the wiring harness modification for the fuel injection
Now that it’s got working AC it’s his daily driver

He said someone asked if the stripes were original, they had to be since they had dents in them
“No, I just painted the stripes over the dents “

He went to some class a body shop in Bremen hosted , to learn how to match patina, so the new paint looks old .

I got there about 630 to help set everything up. Jimmy Lamb really does a nice job with the show. Lot's of folks left early due to the heat. It was miserable from about 2 to 3 and by the time we got done cleaning up we were all drenched. Great day though and awesome show. I've got to do a better job next year of letting guys on here know where I am so we can at least say "HI".

I did, my truck was on the corner in the Carolina Truck Shop booth. I actually sold you guys a 73 grille.

My friend Ian was probably who asked about the paint. He really liked the truck too. His truck was the step side with the 8.1 engine an impala dash.
