Do any of you fine folks run a snow plow on your truck? I only found one company that sells a mount with their blade and they want 4800 bucks for the set up. :puke: Any pictures would be helpful for building my own mount. :peace:

This extra cold and extra snow year is making me want to :suicide: ... I have a long driveway and the garden tractor is not keeping up to the snow load..

I ran an old Western conventional mount on my 77 and my 80. Recently have been rethinking my plans to put a 93 cab on my 80 chassis, which would put the old plow right back onto the chassis. Found my mount parts through Ebay, craigslist, and a local trader paper when I needed them. The particular blade I have was last produced in 77.

Have a Meyer on my '78 short bed. Used a mount for an 88-98 GM truck. took 3"x3" square tubing and welded to ends on frame rails & mount went on without any other modifications. Will try to get pictures of it tomorrow(after I plow for another 6-8 hours)
