Found this 78 f100 that needs a motor, 302 has a cracked block but the guy I bought it from has a 351w that I'm probably gonna buy and put in it. Picked it up for 500 bucks

Yeah it cleaned up pretty good had a lot of mold on it, I'm going back over to the guys house I bought the truck from tomorrow to check the 351 out and hopefully bring that home

Got the 351 along with a whole bunch of other spare parts. And the 302 block to make a table out of.

I always liked those trucks too. Had a sweet 76-79 F250 4X4 built from all parts from those model years.

Anyone know what all these other vacuum lines are and what I can take off? I know the advance and trans vacuum lines need to stay

Worked on the motor some yesterday and got it sitting where the mounts are supposed to be for the motor but having some issues with getting the transmission lined up so I can bolt it all back together. Stuck on whether I want to drop the trans crossmember and try it that way or just pull the motor back out and pull the trans and just put it in as one assembly
