Hit the candy store and walked the "returns" isles.
Found a dizzy with the HEI coil on top. My heart skipped a couple beats. Scanned the qr code. It said Gen1 small block Chevy. Took it to the tech counter to double check. It had a bronze gear which I though was ok, but when he say it he said it was for a roller cam shaft...Buggers...so close.
Original pricewas $310, marked down to $60.
Oh well...keep looking.

Change out the gear that's the difference. Why do you think it was better than the HEI you have,it may not have been better,may not have been as good. What was it?

If it was originally 310 and marked down to 60, that sucker would have come home with me, even if I didn't have a use for it right then. I believe @Catbox would have done the same.
