I am seeking some info. I just bought a 77 long bed and it has a aftermarket bed on it. The problem is that on the driver side the seems to line up well on that side of the truck but on the passenger side of the truck the bed looks about 3/4 of a inch wider than the cab. Has any one worked with a aftermarket bed, had this problem and possible solutions. Thanks for the help.

i would remove the bed and remove the bulkhead to see where contact is being made. probably just trim some sheetmetal or elongate a few holes to get the desired width

Or just shift it a little to the driver's side and split the difference. Sticking out a tic more than half an inch on each side would probably be unnoticeable.
