Adhesive For Center Cap 4x4 Disc

In the process of cleaning/restoring my rear center caps. I've ordered new discs for them as the original color is gone from the 32 yo originals. What adhesive would be best to attach them to the cap? I'm assuming the repos will be metal like the originals (they better be at 9 bucks a pop plus shipping!)

Unsure of what factory used but jb weld super weld super glue works GREAT for attaching things.

You probably want something that doesn't dry rock hard is my guess. Something that stays slightly pliable so road forces and shock loads won't knock it loose.

I would use 3M super weather adhesive. Not the black 3M, but the yellow. Very thin coat on both surfaces, let it tack up a minute or two then stick it on.

Use E6800 Industrial Adhesive. I've used it on several projects and it's the best stuff I've ever used. It gives you plenty of setup time and once it cures those will never come off again.
