Hi all, I’m restoring an 83 K10 and have added AC. I’ve got all of the vents worked out except the “center left” which is the one that comes through the top right side of the instrument bezel.
My understanding is that this vent

Is essentially sandwiched between this box:

And the bezel itself, which the above box is screwed to:

I have these parts and when I assemble them as described, the vent just flops around in there. It’s not secure at all. Am I missing a part? Assembling incorrectly? Any help is appreciated.
