AC Pulley / Belt Alignment

Can someone help me with troubleshooting how I can get this AC pulley back into alignment?

I'm having the exact same problem! I hope you get an answer. It causes some belt squeal which is annoying.

You can't really tell the misalignment in this photo, but everything looks similar to yours.

Is that a spacer or something right there? That's what's pushing it out and causing it to misalign.

Have you got a spacer the same thickness on the top rear mount? That would help balance it out.

That’s a picture where I have everything loosened up. I included as many pictures of the compressor as possible.

The problem with the alignment on my 84 K10 was the spacers at the PS pump mounting bolts. The po had installed a crate 350 in place of the stock 305 and had apparently lost or left spacers that are about 1/2" thick. I figured that out by checking out a completely stock truck. Once I got the PS pump spaced right I was able to line up the ac compressor pretty good. It's not perfect but it's close and I have to add, the stock reference truck wasn't perfect either, but close.

I had noise from mine as well.
Every time the AC compressor engaged it would make noise.
I had all the original parts/spacers/brackets.
Part of the issue was due to a compressor going out.
Since I had to replace the compressor and I don't like v-belts I converted to serpentine.
I took the setup from a 90 suburban and added to my r10.
Works great, no noise and only one belt to change.

So I got everything off again. I’m assuming I should put the fan on the center cap first and tighten down. Then run the belts for power steering , AC, alternator and last smog pump.
