AC Not Blowing Out Top Vents

Took apart and cleaned the rubber vacuum dial on the selector switch at the rear of the climate control. All vacuum lines appear to be attached to everything behind the dash
Q: any advice

Does it switch at all? If there is no vacuum going to the system, it will default to a weird split between defrost and floor. I would check and make sure the vacuum line from the engine to the accumulator is present and in good condition. Then make sure the hard line that connects underneath the accumulator is fully connected and doesn't have any cracks going into the firewall hole. I've had it come loose before and you can't tell with just a casual glance since it is underneath the tank.
