Curious - what models came with a-pillar and/or b-pillar trim? I see there are parts available from most of the regular vendors (LMC, Brothers, etc). Neither of my cabs have either a or b-pillar trim. Was it just certain models? I assume you can easily retrofit the trim onto cabs that did not originally have it?

The trucks with the higher trim levels got a headliner and the pillar trim was included with the headliner.

Thanks. Some searching of google images suggests the headliner trucks got a-pillar, b-pillar, upper windshield & upper rear window trim. I assume there was also a piece between the a & b-pillar to close out the headliner.

Was the headiner an option or just standard on certain models?

Yep, all those pieces. It was included on trim levels like Silverado, Cheyenne and Sierra Classic. I'm not sure about the mid-levels. I'm also not sure if it was available as a separate option.

One exemption is the Suburban, they all got a headliner and some amount of trim due to not having a double layer roof like the others.

My custom deluxe has no trim or headliner. Not sure if it was an option or not. I wouldn’t think so, never seen a SPID with the headliner listed.

I have some of the pieces, except for the pieces above the door. There were also pieces on the end of the dash, below the A pillar. They came on my '75 Sierra Classic

Cheyenne, Silverado and Sierra Classic got headliner trim. It was part of the package not an option.

GM changed the trim level configurations over the years. For example, my '75 is a GMC Sierra Classic model with the Silverado trim option, so it has the full headliner and trim pieces. It also has a woodgrain dash, door panels and instrument bezel. I'm not sure what pieces it would have had if it didn't have Silverado trim.
