My truck's a 1985 Chevrolet C20 Custom Deluxe with (1?)53,080 miles. It has an A/C single cab with a long work bed. The motor is a 350 and the tranny's a (blown) 400. The truck started out for the state of Alabama's, one of my grandpa's friends, my uncle, a long-time friend of mine that him and his Mexican friends used on a chicken farm, and then it went to me. What I plan on doing in the future is re-painting the truck (adding black on the back of the work bed and top of the tool box, cab lights, a cargo light, onboard-air, welding supplies, and a ladder rack. Since I wanna keep everything on it sorta-ish period correct, I'm also gonna add a 4-way hitch, CB radio, 70s-80s bug shield, fender emblems, dash, new turn signals, and a faded logo on the side of the door. I may or may not add tow bags...probably not. When it's cooler, we're gonna fix the transmission because the previous owner blew it...didn't know it was possible to wreck a 400. 1st photo is when I bought it in 2019 *was sitting for 2 years* and 2nd photo is the last, recent photo of it. The transmission's been holding the entire project up because everyone's been either busy or it's been too hot to work on it. Also I am going to change the emblem on the grill, that's temporary. Now about me, I'm a 26 year old guy that works at a mechanic shop...all I really do is change tires and oil. I've also got 4 other trucks *technically 5*. I'd post them here but yanno...they're not squarebodies so I really can't haha. If anyone needs anymore details about the truck and/or I, give me a holler.
