I’m really toying with the idea of attending this, 340 miles if I take I70 from here to Richmond.

The 2nd is also a local “rod run” but I feel like is would be more cool…

Hmmm…

I'm planning on taking the K30 crew cab again this year. Kathleen also wants to take Curt's @crazy4offroad old truck too, so we may have a couple there. Jon will also be there again with his '85 C30 crew cab.

oops, wife just reminded me that’s the same weekend as the Street Rod Nats here in town, 10,000 vehicles and I don’t have to drive three hours.

Thinking of driving down from Minnesota.
In the past has the swap meet been interesting?

It's usually not a large swap meet, at least the last few years I've been there. But there's always a nice variety of selection and often the stuff is priced to move. Sometimes folks also have parts for sale where they have their truck parked in the show.

Close enough for me - and I managed to find a place to stay.
My K10 isn't ready for that long of a drive, but I'm looking forward to the event all the same.

Well fellas, unfortunately I will not be able to make it. I found out that we are celebrating my Mother's birthday on the third (her birthday is the fourth), so it just would not be reasonable to try to make it and be back here.

Hopefully next year. Look forward to seeing pictures.

I forgot to get pictures of stuff walking around, and also of the cruise through town and the parking lot where everyone gathered.

But I did remember at least to get a couple pictures of the show grounds.

The turnout so far is pretty good for the "pre show", especially with the threat of rain. Which it did actually rain for a bit.
