Howdy all, I have a 99 K2500 Suburban. I want to level it. I thought about cranking up the adjusters, but it would make it way too stiff, as I have tried that on my truck. I found some long torsion keys, but I am not sure how or if that will help. Can anybody tell what will work, short of buying an expensive lift kit? Thanks for any advise. Tom

It may not stiffen it as much as your truck, the Burb is a bit heavier.

I turned them up on my '95 K2500 Suburban and my 2001 GMC 2500 HD. The Suburban had a 4" lift, the GMC did not. Neither was stiff as you are not changing torsion bars. What you have to be careful of is cranking it up to the point the upper A-arm is sitting on the snubber. This creates a rough ride as the suspension cannot droop if it hits a pot hole or dip in the road as the suspension is sitting on the frame. On my Suburban, I swapped out the factory snubber for a low profile one.
