I would like to convert the 83 to a tilt steering which the 92 manual trans unit does have but I do`nt know about mounting and coupling to the gear box, My auto transmission is a floor shift conversion so the manual trans column would be a nice upgrade.
the 83 has no cruise so I removed the components from the manual shift unit and I would like to incorporate that into the crossover.
I know the wiper/washer will require a lot of thought if I was to use the sig. lever switching but I do`nt think the turn signal option would be too difficult.
Has anyone ever tried this conversion,Replies Please.
