The factory radio in my '90 is dying a slow death and needs replaced. Would it have the older style harness connectors or is it the newer type that GM started phasing in around '89?

Thanks buddy! I don't know why I even started a thread, I should have just asked you to begin with.

Anyway, that's good news. I've got lots of the older style radios laying around.

Now's a good time to upgrade to the Delco 5EQ CD player and there's a seller on ebay who's adding MP3 jacks to them. Just installed his tuner in mine after my tuner suddenly took a dirt nap.

I'm not putting anything fancy in it. There's currently only one speaker that works, but it could be the fault of the radio. That single working speaker was good enough for me. It's just my rusty beater Burb with vinyl seats and rubber floor, I just want to have tunes and still be able to leave the doors unlocked anywhere I go.
