Well its not the Evil Crew Cab I was going to purchase, the GOV shutdown at the time made me re-evaluate the necessity of that beautifull monster. I ended up with a much smaller and in all honesty, practical vehicle....a 76' CJ-7.
Basic stats on the CJ are as follows…. first year CJ7, just over 90K orig mi – AMC 401 – TH400 – Quadra Trac (w/PT conversion) – PS/PB - D30/AMC 20 (1 piece) both with Aussie lockers and 4.56’s – 4” CJ springs – 33 MT Baja Claws on 15X8 Eagles….. original Levi’s low backs in great condition. Body is uncut, straight and clean.
Its mechanically solid and just needs some freshening up.....
Po definitely used it, but also took good care of it:
Since bringing home on 10/26 Ive pulled the top and re-painted it black. Its sitting in the garage now awaiting tint before I reinstall it.
PO put diamond plate on the rear corners to fix a problem from his PO. Apparently that guy fabbed up a homemade tire carrier and re-located the fuel filler to the pass side. My PO put it back to stock and the diamond plate was just an easy fix to cover all the holes. As provided in the pics, there’s no rust underneath. I pulled those and did them with bedliner and installed a set of rear marker lights which were NIB given to me with the purchase…as were several other goodies…
