There are some on here. I'm trying to keep my center of gravity lower, so have a 5" lift and 37s with crossover steering. Quite a bit of fender trimming. Since fenders were rusted it wasn't bad to do.

Move your axle forward with a zero-rate/easy inch spring plate with offset pin. Slide cab back as far as possible , if it has any leeway. Some do.. some don't.

Don't use any spring other than;
Deaver
ORD custom multi pack (Deaver copy)
or Tough Country for budget.

Zebulon! Nice. Im in salisbury.

I had a k5 on 6" of lift with narrow 38" boggers.

Steering was kinda chitty, even with the "drop pitman arm " the kit includes.
To answer that question, crossover steering will require a 2wd gear box. The swing of the pitman arm is different.

A 4x4 gearbox swings parallel to the frame, 2wd swings underneath the frame .

The draglink on a stock truck wont be near long enough, seeing as crossover ties the gearbox over to the passenger side knuckle.

i'm running skyjacker soft-ride 8" springs with cross-over also.
i run 3 diff size tires, 38" swamps, 42" swamps and 38" toyo m/t's, all on 16 incher rims. swamps are kick-a$$ off road, but HORRIBLE on the street. remember back in the day with bias tires how they would be square every morn? wait until ya got square 38's every morning, they will shake the fillings out of your teeth until they warm up and round out. second biggest prob i find wit my swamps is there is no siping.....lots of fun on wet roads, and if your running lockers...double your fun...
if your haul heavy loads wit your truck, i would not bother with rear lift springs. haulin' my camper flattened my rear springs in about 2 yrs, so i use 4" shackle flips wit a 3" block and airbags in the rear with GM H-D 9 leaf packs
