This is another option.... I want one but only for the cool factor. If I had a burb or crew cab I sed for family camping I would have one.

This is what I am looking into getting for my burb. I have a 454 and SM465. It will do every bit of 70 towing on flat interstate, but it is wide open at that speed. I thought about the NV4500 swap, but you get the same overdrive ratio with the Ranger Torque Splitter as you do with the 5th gear in the NV4500. AND with the Ranger you also get the added benefit of being able to split ever gear. Makes those mountain passes a little less cumbersome when towing.

Not sure what gears my K10 has, but I've done 85 (barely) but been able to hold 75 pretty well. If I try to speed up quickly over that it screams LOUD.
