https://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/d/96-dodge-ram-1500/6410303035.html And someone convince me this is bad, because its tempting.

It doesn't look bad, but I would be hesitant with all the negative press that some of those Torqueflite transmissions get. The body situation on those trucks goes about like that from what I see. Sometimes better to where it's just clearcoat peel and much worse to where they're dying of cancer.

Never mind. Ad says it's a standard. Me, I'd just stick with GM because it's what I know best.

If you feel like fighting rust, I don't think that's too bad. None of those things around me have more than surface rust so everyone wants gold for them or to trade for Dolly Parton's tour bus.
Ive wanted a small rust project

My 90 OBS had over 300k miles on it when O got it and I probably put another 60k on it, all I did was valve guide seals and a clutch. Other than that it was all modifications. Oh and a fuel pump relay once. Learned to keep a spare in the glovebox. If it ever happened again.

I ended up doing cab corners and never painted it after, it was a great truck though.
