87' suburban rough project

Hello from Oklahoma. I've got 2 suburban now that I'm trying to make one good one out of. The 87 that was my daily driver for quite a while had the rear end go out of it. Lucky for me a buddy of mine had a 3/4 ton suburban of the same year I believe that he pulled the motor from and sold me the rest for parts for 500. So the plan is to swap the 3/4 ton axles into my suburban. Hopefully it's a straight across swap and I can just go buy some new U bolts!

Howdy!

And you will just need a conversion u-joint to bolt your rear shaft to the axle. Actually IIRC, you can use your stock 10 bolt yoke on the semi float 14... assuming that's what you have and not the full float axle.
