Welcome and I have an 87 R10 350 SBC w/700r4 as well and I've had it for 16 years now while being my daily driver for the last 10 years. She's been good to me so far, driven to the west coast and back twice and up and down the east coast, so far so good.

Welcome from KC, I have an 87 R10 also, except I have the 305 in mine. 125,000 original miles. Had mine for about six years. No rust, previous owner did a lot of work to it. Pretty much stock.

Grabbed a couple pictures after work(night shift). Like I said the body is meh. I ripped off the trim a long time ago since it was falling off anyways and I can get it brand new from LMC truck. Some rust around the wheel wheel's. Replaced the cab corner on the driver side and waiting to get the other side done. The truck was also rear ended by a Honda Prelude around 4 years ago going 35 mph when I was at a full stop.. Totaled the car and messed up my bumper. I replaced the bumper with another one and that was that. Truck is tough as nails.
