soaked part of the intake in 50/50 purple/water for 3 days (part cuz my container isn't big enough). It's making a difference but not eating the buildup like I want. If I have to scrub, it's not good enough. I can't reach everything in the intake, so I'm holding off on scrubbing until I see it rinse off. Then I'll know it's clean everywhere inside.

New 50# injectors off ebay should be here tomorrow also. Gonna hold off installing to make sure my tuner has the tables for these.

My guess is it would work better if you pumped it through the intake or heated up the cleaner.

The heat would help loosen up the deposits and the pump would keep it all flowing and add friction into the mix to knock off anything a little more solid.

It's not an aluminum intake I hope. Try to get a squirt bottle and hit it with full strength if it's that bad.

If it's an aluminum intake, that's not good.

haven't ordered the hose stuff yet. I'll probably go with braided. I'm using 3/8" line (6AN) all the way back. I'll have 2 hoses from tank to filter/regulator, then steel line to the engine bay with another hose to the engine.

If anyone knows a way to build hoses for under $25.....please share your source for hose n fittings lol. 2 of them need to be about 3' long, the one at the engine can be what ever.

[edit] I edited a few times just now......refresh please.

For a cleaner looking fuse box, I went ahead with the Bussmann 5 relay/10 fuse box with no bus. I'll have to terminate all the fuses/relays, but I can have higher power (and more control) as compared to the bused version. It's part # 15303404. It doesn't come with the pins, so I ordered 50 of them as well. Part # 12110853-L. PDF link below in case you want to use one and would rather a different configuration. I also went with the 15303404 because it appears that it will take the 5 pin relays as well. We'll see when I get it this coming week. I ordered them from Mouser ($19 for the box, $17 for the pins, $8 shipping).

Hot damn. I went out to the garage to see how I could figure out how to sand down the aluminum pipe thickness to what I need to take up the gap between the output shaft and the reluctor wheel. The idea damn near knocked me off my feet. I'm embarrassed I hadn't thought of it yet. You see the little brush on the drill? That's it. I was attacking it from the outside to make it thinner. Slapped that bad boy on the drill....a little force and she went in.

Size pipe: 1" OD, 0.902" ID, thickness = 0.049" (measurements were FAIRLY accurate)

Output shaft (location I wanted the wheel) = 1.102"

Reluctor ring (ACDELCO 24202711) ID = 1.182 - 1.188 (not perfect either)

Brushed about an inch of the pipe to 0.043 with a leading edge at 0.033 (not intentional.....just what ended up with) First attempt was 0.038 and the ring spun by hand....So I wanted a smaller leading edge to get it started.

Then I split it in half and gently tapped it so it was form fit to the shaft as it is bigger than the pipe. Stuck the wheel on there and started it by hand. Tapped it with a hammer and she's on there. You can see how the two halves didn't stay in position. I can't turn it by hand. I could JB Weld it on there, but I might just tack the ring to the shaft (steel). Alignment is perfect for where I want to put my sensor in on the trans adapter.

Reluctor Ring $6 at Rockauto as compared to most kits that start @ $90 and want you to drill into the trans case.

soaked part of the intake in 50/50 purple/water for 3 days (part cuz my container isn't big enough). It's making a difference but not eating the buildup like I want. Try Zep 505 Commercial Cleaner and Degreaser, found at HomeDepot for one. Comes in a squirt bottle and I would spray that stuff on grime and let it soak. Rinse and a lot of dirt comes off. Use a brush more can come off, but did it for my intake and it helped. I also soak in purple power/water for awhile as well. Multiple attack angles combines to get dirt off.

New 50# injectors off ebay should be here tomorrow also. Gonna hold off installing to make sure my tuner has the tables for these.

There one table where one sets the values. Column labels are units of kPa pressure. My table came with 24.1 all the way across and I just changed the entire table to 50.0
