Give us the symptoms! I'm sure it's something simple to fix!

Chill !!! Don't blame it on the truck, and I'd agree with, stop throwing money at it. You know its a tired a 305 right? So save up a few bucks and watch for a used 350 to pop up on CL. Might find a 50-60K 350 for $300 or $400. Have you done a compression test on this thing lately? It only engine problems right??? I say don't wash your hands with the truck, wash your hands of the 305.

Thats a great idea, throw another 400 bucks into the fire that is my GMC:roflbow: My luck the motor will throw a rod within 100 miles. I think I am done with this piece of ****.

Good things about the truck for anyone interested: New battery, fresh Carter AFB carb, TSP distributor, new plugs and wires, new water pump, new radiator hoses, new power steering pump, new heater core, new blower motor, brand new copper radiator (very expensive), new calipers, new brake pads, new rear wheel cylinders, new brake shoes and a new windshield. Im sure I am forget some other new stuff I will add later.

And what's cool, all that **** you just listed will transfer to your new/used 350 when you get it too.
