85HeavyChevy's '86 Monte Carlo SS Build

My dad gave me a 84 LS Monte at 16(last year). It was on its second engine and its an ls so im not looking to keep it all original. I already killed the second 305 .
My plans:
350 w/ vortec heads and a l79 cam for now(should push 350-375)
th350 w/ lockup is coming out and a built th350 with shift kit is going in
Lq9 6.0 to 408 or 454 Forged build(hopefully)
T-56(one day)
2.29's are being replaced with 3.42's
295/50's out back.

Sounds great. I'm planning to get my SS running this week if everything works out. The battery is tired and old, and so is the gasoline. I plan on keeping mine stock since it was my grandpa's. Love to see a pic of yours

Did you end up getting yours back on the road last fall? Any big plans for this year?

When it gets warmer out I plan on getting back at my SS also. Build thread will be forthcoming to join yours and Driver's Monte threads.
