buttoning up an 85 SWB build. Need opinions or pics of your thoughts on 18" or 20" wheels. I did a 2.5 front 4 rear lowering kit. Much appreciated!

20's all the way. I plan on doing 3-5 and 20's. (pay no attention to the gay 22's in my profile pic.)

What did you decide. I ha e an 85 Shorty that I plan on doing the same thing to. I was debating the same thing on rim size. At this point I am leaning toward 18’s just for comfort reasons. More sidewall will equal a smoother ride.

more sidewall for sure. only go bigger if you have brake clearance issues. and if your having brake clearance issues with 18's you better have a blown big block

It depends on the wheel as the design can make them look bigger or smaller. Personally I dont like the rubber band look and prefer to have some sidewall to roll in the corners.
