Howdy!

I have an 85 454 suburban and we are rebuilding everything on it. The pump is the last thing to be replaced and it has a remote reservoir. Can I use a newer style pump (90’s) with integrated reservoir that will still work with the factory lines and bracket?

I believe it will work, pretty sure ive done exactly this or opposite. Cleanest way to do it is by trading pump body's out and useing your original reservoir but run the risk of leaking if the seals are bad.

Thanks. I want to get rid of the remote reservoir and go all inclusive.

Didn’t know if something like this might work:
