I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but I am asking in reference to the rust mostly, so I figured this would work. If not, I apologize.

Guy's asking $3500...What would you pay for this?

Descrip:

1985 chevy k20 silverado for a jeep yj 95 and older (manual only). it is lifted 4" on 37s with 65% tread left, has a very strong 350 with long tube headers, true duel to flowmaster super 10, turbo 350 trans, 10 bolt front 14 bolt rear, np205 transfer case, odometer says 44k but im not sure if it rolled over and now is at 144k. everything does work as it should. the whole truck is very solid and I drive it every day.

Lol, well the funny thing is that the first pic and a couple similar exterior pics were what the ad was, then I asked him for more and he sent me those. It's almost like a different truck. I'm having a really hard time finding a decent square near me for a reasonable price.

Plus that 44k odometer is not what that truck came with all 81-87s have 6 digits plus the counter.

The truck probably has 350,000 on it and its rusted to crap on the cab and a th350 with 37s :whymewhyme:

Thanks, fellas. I think I'll walk and keep my eyes out for something else.

I could tell you a ton about Impalas, but this truck stuff is new to me. I really appreciate the info!

Not in the U.S. 1990-91 with the electronic speedo were the only squares to get a 6 digit odometer. But I have seen very few others with 6 digits and imperial speedo, mostly 1 tons.

just checked my '87. The odo on that is only 5 digits plus the tenths. not saying that that truck doesn't have a billion miles on it.

I've often wondered just what all the differences were in the trucks that were built for the Canadian market and the ones for the US market. I know that GM has quite a history with swapping grills and trim options on the car models over the years. Would love to find a breakdown of all the differences in the trucks.

There were a few different models available (i.e. GMC Wrangler), the clusters were in metric.

Daytime running lights were available in later years.

I'd love to get the DRL parts for my Sierra.

Well, yesterday I stumbled upon a nice truck finally. 1982 K10 with a newer front, with the updated lights. It's a 350 with a th400 trans, 4wd either 70k or 170k miles. Body work and paint job done about 6 months ago with a brand new bed. It's a full size bed, regular cab. Has an upgraded stereo and power locks/windows and also a lock/unlock key fob! Anyways, zero rust and a nice exhaust.

Check the cab floors inside the truck and check the front end especially around the steering box. Looks like that was a plow truck and could put undo stress on the front.
