I put a electrical fuel pump now when I drive it in the hot part of the day it's starting to bog down like vapor locking. I put a old radiator hose over the fuel line coming up by the smog pump. I have an edlebrock carb with a riser on it am I going to go back to the manual fuel pump I never had this problem before.. the only reason I changed the manual fuel pump was I was having trouble putting the manual fuel pump in trying to push the rod back.

Edelbrocks are really picky about fuel pressure. The electric pump was probably putting out too much pressure for it.
