84 wiring diagram decode

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone can "decode" the wiring diagram. I a specifically looking to understand what size wire is needed for each circuit. I have highlighted in the pic below the "code" I am speaking of. Does any of this tell you the wire size? I.E. 3 RED-2 Is one of those numbers a code for the wire size?

I'm Pretty sure the first number is the wire size in metric.
