I have a 15$ 0-90 ohm guage from Amazon gonna be here Saturday. See if I can't get some answer's rigging it up temporarily if need be. I will check engine to frame tomorrow

Checked all the grounds, all look good. Checked ground and positive again on gauge cluster and I have both good ground all around and 12v power. Tested sending unit again in ohm and read 60-70 ohm (would be right for the 3/4 tank it has) and also did ohm test on pin behind the guage that reads the sending wire and it Also showed 60-70 ohm there just like it should match what the sending unit tested. Everything is checking out like it should

I GOT IT FIGURED OUT! it's bad magnets in my stock guage. Even tho it tested right in all the ways you could check the guage and resistor on the back it still would not read right. New Amazon cheapo guage I hooked up worked like a champ!! Now to find a parts guage on Facebook marketplace before I buy the $50 one off summit! Thanks everybody!!!

Good deal. My fuel guage is also a bit wonky, and I've checked everything but the guage. I hadn't realized until I read your fix that I never tried a different guage, but I've checked the wires 30x..

About 20 bucks and little labor you can know for sure
