84 GMC K1500 HI Folks

Just found your forum. I have a 1984 gmc k1500 swb sb350 700r4. I have had it scene 1989 so it's been around for awhile. Most all of the modification have been mechanical,but some to the interior. I am a retired Chevrolet partsman. I'm looking forward to learning some things from all of you!

Welcome aboard, I'll bet in addition to learning some things from us, with your background and how long you have had your truck, you'll probably teach us a thing or two as well. Would love to see pics of your truck if you have any handy!

Thank You for the warm reception. I will try to send pictures( I will ask one of my granddaughters for help ). Right now the truck is at a buddy's shop having the a/c up graded,New compressor,condenser,accumulator and hoses. Shorty ( that's my wife of 43 years) and I are going to take a trip to north/east Texas in a couple weeks pulling a small travel trailer and she says the a/c must work. The one thing I have learned is when to throw the key's to a pro and say call me when it's done( a/c,transmissions and differentials). One thing about driving an old square body cross country is you sure meet a lot of like minded people aka " gearheads,car nuts and mostly just good people! Thanks again for the welcome.
