I've been trying to sell my truck locally for a month or so now. Figured I should post it up here for a forum member to have a chance if they are interested.

Don't mind me being lazy with the CL link instead of typing/uploading pictures here.

Nice truck. Wish I had the money for it.

Thank you, I've spent a lot of time and money into it since I've owned it. But really I feel that I've taken it as far as I want to go. Never could bring myself to cut it for a NV4500 or any other more involved swaps. A new coat of paint would take it really far.

WOW! I read the whole Craigslist post and thought to myself, who can I get to drive down to Independence, MO with me? That's only a 6 or 7 hour drive.

Then I realized it's in Independence, OR. That becomes over 24 hours on the road each way. Certainly a deal breaker for me.

Good luck on the sale! It sounds like it's worth every penny.

I read it too, sounds like a great truck. Hope you can sell it. I personally would like a nice K20, but it's not in my future at this point. Too many other vehicles, and I was told if I want to get another one, a current one has to go. We need more property, then that wouldn't be a problem...lol... But then I may end up like @bucket or @AyWoSch Motors

It is a really nice truck, I've seen it in person.

Have you tried posting it for sale on the local facebook squarebody groups?

Alexis (Mrs. Dutch Rutter for those who don't know) posted it up for me, she said she put it on a lot of pages/groups, since I still refuse to get another Facebook account.
I have not heard much from it on Facebook but its gotten quite a internet famous following now, last time I asked, it was up to 500+ likes, several comments (love these trucks, looks good etc.), several saves, and a lot of shares.

I never thought it'd take this long for it to find a new home, but I figure the people in this area who would be buyers probably aren't spending their money right now. If I would have listed it mid-late summer I have no doubt it would have been sold within a week.

Yeah, they were selling like crazy even 6 months ago. The crazy gas prices and now the inflation and recession problems are driving the market back down.

Exactly, plus the holiday season right around the corner. Right now people are also probably spending what money they do have on firearms since the elections turned out like they did. It'll sell sometime I am sure. I'm not in any rush and it isn't costing me anything significant (insurance and some gas when I take it for a drive once a week) sitting in front of the house. I have thought about selling some of the parts I have for it separately but I'm not sure just how much I want to deal with shipping and listing the stuff.

Large Items would be:
Hydraulic brake and clutch pedal assembly
Tilt steering column from a standard transmission truck
I have a HUGE, flowing and leak free when it was pulled, OEM radiator and matching fan shroud from an 86 6.2l c20.
Jeep steering shaft I never installed
A bunch of other random stuff (some new, most not) that I'd like to just send along with the truck for the new owner to either use or sell.

Geeze, seems like I'm getting a bit reputation here. It's almost as if I have a few trucks or something, hahaha..

I entered Diesel bros last truck giveaway. If I win I'm selling it. If I win and if the truck is still available I'm grabbing it! Lol

Great price for a clean truck. Ebay is where it needs to be.

I've had a few people suggest ebay. I've never sold anything this big on there before so I'm not sure how that would work, but it might be where I go with it TBH.
I've also thought about BAT. I've seen several go for decent money on there but I've also been told they are pretty picky about what they allow to have a reserve, and I'd about die if I had to sell it for $8k or less.

I do like the idea of a forum member picking it up so I could still get updates on it. I'll even give someone the full VIP treatment, if they wanted to fly in and give me enough notice, I'll make the drive (hour or so depending on traffic) up to PDX in the truck and pick them up.
